I woke up this morning to snow. A lot of it. There was about an inch on the ground, and it was still snowing heavily. Today broke the snowfall record at 4.9 inches (interestingly, the old record was set on April 11, 1997). It's supposed to snow again tomorrow.

Okay, Winter. You win, I lose. I give up. Wave the white flag of surrender. I promise to get the hell out of this state as soon as I get my diploma. Clearly you don't want me here, and frankly I don't WANT to be here, so I'll go as soon as I can, okay? I'll get a job someplace where the seasons are respectable and know how to behave.

When this alleged "summer" rolls around (if it actually even exists up here, I have my doubts), if I start feeling better-disposed to this place, I'm going to read this blog to remind myself what lies ahead.
